Accessibility

This site is produced by Ombudsman Western Australia. It aims to provide comprehensive information about the Energy and Water Ombudsman WA's office and its services. The site has been designed to be as accessible to as many users as possible.

The site is best viewed using Internet Explorer 7.

Using the site

The site has been structured so it can be easily navigated through. Every page has the main menu on the left hand side and the second level pages 'pop out' when section headings are moused over.

There is also a search function at the top of each page so content can be found easily, or alternatively the Site map lists all pages within their relevent sections.

There is also a breadcrumb trail on every page to see exactly where you are in the site, and where you have come from.

Please note, documents on the site are available in other formats on request. Contact us to make a request or see the Community Accessibility page.

Text resizing

The site has been designed to allow text resizing. In the top right-hand corner of each page, there are text resizing buttons: the small 'A' makes text on the page smaller; and the large 'A' makes text on the page larger. The function uses JavaScript to work. If you do not have Java enabled, you will need to go to the security settings on your browser to enable it.

More information is also available at steps to change the size of the text (external website).

Software requirements

Throughout the site, there are documents and files that require specific software to allow the user to view files. Most computers will already have the required software installed. If however, additional software needs to be installed, the following list of free software may be helpful.
